Why Anybody Can Work in Education

After the first bell this morning, the administration gets on the PA to announce that Bus 84 was running late, so that if a student comes in late to first period to not count them tardy if they say that they were on Bus 84. With those magical words Bus 84 was converted into a 600-passenger carrier. What student that is late, who heard that announced through out the whole school, is not going to claim to be on bus 84, especially, if it gets them out of detention?

I can't wait until 2nd period for an announcement -- "Excuse me students--the answers for the English test are A, A, D as in Dog..."

The teacher next door to me doesn't allow her kids to have food or drinks in her room. She's nuts! Doesn't she realize how much of that stuff they leave behind?! I say keep it coming! By the end of the day, I had indulged in a Zinger, Doritos bits, and a half a can of Hawaiian Punch.
